- Antique light blue Chevrons sometimes called Awale or Awalleh
- Beads on these 21-inch strands range in size from 6 to 8mm diameter
- Condition is excellent - good balance of light blue, dark blue and brown
- Sometimes called Awale, Awalleh - spellings vary
- Documented to have been made in Venice late 1800 to early 1900s
- My personal opinion, based on the relatively early stage of chevron evolution seen in these beads, is that they are likely even older.
