This is more of a collector/research set than a designer set
This is a mixed lot of very early millefiori beads, when the technique was first being developed, possibly as much as 500 years ago.
Five of the beads have an off white or yellowish core with scattered murrini - the cane slices were too new and valuable at that point to use as many as were employed later. The base glass in these beads had minimal coloring
Note the largest bead of these 5 has the same murrinie as cover AFE-431
Next the large bead at the bottom of the image has a 2 color stripe with scattered murrini, an early bead mixing lamwork and murrini. It's also badly broken on both ends
Finally the most interesting seems to be made entirely of pale blue turquoise glass with murrini very similar to the early "bear paw" design. It too has a bad chip on one end.
