- Large, curved antique Venetian trade bead, yellow base decorated with twisted canes and what appear to be swirled slices (very early murrine?) of these canes
- 45x14mm curved and in excellent condition
- Made in Venice, Italy for the African trade 17th to 18th century
- This bead was exhibited during a show at the Bead Museum in Washington, DC as an example of some of the earliest millefiori type beads
