- One of several types of faux Tibetan amber beads available in Tucson this year.
- Bead sizes are 25x32mm and two versions of 20x36mm
- Only one strand available
- Considerable thought and effort has been put into making these new beads look old. The strand appears to consist of a variety of shapes, but close inspection reveals there are just 3 shapes.
- In addition, the beads have been artificially "distressed" to simulate flaws and signs of wear on antique Tibetan amber. The color also is a good match for antique Himalayan beads.
- Because genuine antique Tibetan amber is almost unavailable and prohibitively expensive, these offer and affordable substitute to create the look.
- The surface is glossy, but the cord actually shows signs of wear so these may not be brand new. Sorry not to have any additional info.
