Description
- These beads are priced and sold as a set of 3
- One cylnder 22x12mm and two barrels 14x12 and 12x12mm of a bead called "Kente" for it's resemblance to the famous Ghanaian Kente cloth.
- To create these beads tiny glass rods of green white and brick red are melted and twisted together then wrapped thightly around the core of the bead with a larger version of the the brick, green and while stripe around the middle.
- These are a particularly nice example, all in excellent shape
- Made in Venice, Italy for the African trade early to late 1800s
