Set of 9 rare Venetian antique raised eye lampwork beads average 15x14mm
These are fascinating beads. Initially you might think they are molded with applied white eyes, but the variations in size and shape make me think these are wound coils, with the center section flattened before applying the eyes
These two sets are in very good condition.
This set has two more beads than AFE-298, but there are also a few missing eyes among the beads in this set.
Made in Venice late-1800s to early 1900s for the African trade
