- Tile pattern flat square bone beads, 24x24, sold by sets of 4
- These are part of the "batik bone" family, but made in a different way.
- The original batik process involves protecting the white surface with molten wax, the dying the unexposed areas with black hair dye.
- These beads however were dyed first, then the white areas were exposed by carefully cutting or scraping away the dark surface layer.
- These are nice focals for necklaces and bracelets with other bone or wood beads
