I've gone through hundreds of these strands in my beading career, mostly the 3mm size. I find them extremely useful structurally and to add just a bit of metallic spark to brighten up all kinds of jewelry
Originally, Kenyan metal heishi only came in the 4mm size. Now all three colors, brass, copper and white metal, are available in standard, mini, and sometimes a large size heishi as well
