Small, light cast bronze pendants by Nancy J. Young, New Mexico artist
They are buffed to feel as smooth as if they've been worn for 100 years
Altho she works mostly in paper now, her interest in archeology and anthropology fueled the creation of a line of limited edition bronze castings earlier in her career.
I found these in New Mexico in the late 1980s or early 90's
Although they were new at the time, they were created specifically to look ancient and they fit right in with a line I call Ancient Echoes that I work on whenever I can. I've hoarded many beads for this line, but I have to let some go
