Cowrie shells have played decorative and cultural roles in many cultures, but most often their importance has been economic. Cowrie shell money was important not only in the trade networks of Africa, but also in South and East Asia.
The image shows all sizes, but I've sorted them into three groups: Large ORS-141, Medium ORS-172 and Mixed Smalls ORS-173
