- These vintage small collars of Chilean lapis are 6 inches long with individual "sticks" measure 7-28mm long in a smooth arc. Use them together or make several smaller centerpieces.
- Chilean lapis, with white calcite inclusions, is sometimes called "denim lapis" and has a more casual look than Afghan Lapis

Beloved from ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia to Greece and Rome, Lapis was used it as a reward for bravery. It was also considered to be a stone of royalty in ancient Sumer and China, and later in Russia as well as other European countries.
