Mixed lot of 5 Venetian Millefiore trade beads, largest 18x10mm
These are among the very earliest millefiori made. The cores are pretty much the color or raw glass without colorants and murine were just beginning to be used sparingly altho the complexity of the canes is already evident in at least 2
Maybe not the prettiest, but very rare and nice to have in a collection
All trade beads have holes big enough for 1-2mm leather cords
Made in Venice, Italy 1800s to early 1900s for the African trad
