That means the rod of glass was coated with several layers of molten glass rather than made of a bundle of mini canes.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eIt's easy enough to see that after the mystery blue and white center, the cane was cased in red, the dipped into a flower petal mold to alter the shape, then cased in white, and finally green. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThe part I don't understand is how all the slices off this can have these random appearing white lines amongst the blue.
