Vintage Moroccan silver or silver alloy beads, 20mm diameter decorated with wirework and granulation. Perforation is about 1mm
These look very dark with age, but would probably shine up with enough effort.
They are quite heavy for their size, due to the metal being much thicker than the sheet metal used for newer Moroccan beads.
They are at least 50 years old, probably more.
They are from my mom's collection. Joyce Diamanti was a bead collector, researcher, writer and educator. She visited Morocco around 1973-4 while living in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
