But the palette also grew out of me variations on a theme with similar gem colors in PDG-69, PDG-70 and PDG-71. That might of been because I hadn't seen any gemstones used with trade beads in Africa and it took me while to gather a collection of them once I arrived in the US. Then II tended to use them with each other.
