- These beads are priced and sold by the set of 16 beads
- Part of the "Russian Blue" family these antique, extra large hole (4-5mm) molded faceted Bohemian beads range in color from light to dark blue and in size form 7x9mm to 1x11mm. Each is also made of two layers of glass, the inner layer usually being lighter. That doesn't seem to make a visual difference in opaque beads, but in translucent ones it can reflect more light back out making the bead brighter.
- Russians didn't have anything to do with making these beads, they just traded them to Alaskan natives for furs in the 1800s. They were made in Bohemia, now the Czech Republic, famous for its molded beads.
