One of several types of faux Tibetan amber beads available in Tucson this year.
Bead sizes are 25x32mm and two versions of 20x36mm
Only one strand available
Considerable thought and effort has been put into making these new beads look old. The strand appears to consist of a variety of shapes, but close inspection reveals there are just 3 shapes.
In addition, the beads have been artificially "distressed" to simulate flaws and signs of wear on antique Tibetan amber. The color also is a good match for antique Himalayan beads.
Because genuine antique Tibetan amber is almost unavailable and prohibitively expensive, these offer and affordable substitute to create the look.
The surface is glossy, but the cord actually shows signs of wear so these may not be brand new. Sorry not to have any additional info.
