These came from the Beadazzled Falls Church store and show indications of the steeply rising costs of Turquoise today.
Most of the US and Chinese mines have largely been played out. Currently the only bright spot is hope for deposit being explored in Mexico.
Of all the gemstones in the world, turquoise may well be the one that has been used the longest, beads dating back to 5000 BC have been found and it's still beloved around the world, but it's getting a lot harder to find.
