Sadly I can't remember where this necklace is from, although I think India.
Beaded sections of the necklace total 26 inches, pendant is 55x38mm
The drawer pendant with openwork is unique and I can see an aromatherapy use for it: fill it with a bit of silk and drops of essential oils
But most interesting and attractive to me are the great variety and fine quality of the well worn heavy silver beads that make up the rest of the necklace.
They look quite a bit older than the pendant, are of excellent quality (high silver content), and combined with rare care and skill.
