Description
- Ghanaian brass lost wax cast medum face pendant
- Pendant is 45mm wide and 55mm long including the loop
- The "ears" could also be used as loops to attach dangles
- Lost wax designs are created in wax first, the item is then covered with clay.
- The clay mold is heated and the wax runs out through openings left for that purpose. Then molten brass is poured in. After it's cooled the mold is broken and the bead or pendant is then cleaned and polished. Each is one of a kind.
- In this complicated process, some flaws are inevitable, we choose to recognize them as proof the item isn't a casting mass produced by machines.
