Restringing Service

We're excited to announce that Deborah McClintock will be offering a restringing service both locally and via USPS. Deborah was the stringer at the Beadazzled store in Dupont Circle for many years. She's now working in the Beadazzled.com office and with KP Manning & Friends at the Dupont Little Flea Market on the corner of 19th and Q Streets NW. Bring items to be restrung to the booth or send via USPS, see details below.

 

The KPMF booth is open every Sunday 10am-3pm, weather permitting, except the 4th Sunday. If the market is closed due to inclement weather, it will be posted on the Instagram site at www.instagram.com/dupontlittlefleamarket/

BEADED JEWELRY RESTRINGING PRICE GUIDE

RESTRINGING BEADED JEWELRY $15 minimum
$3.00/inch for beads 6mm or larger
$5.00/inch for beads smaller than 6mm
$4.00/inch for designs with a mix of sizes over and under 6mm
FOR MULTIPLE STRANDS
Price per inch as above for the longest strand. For each additional strand half the price per inch.
KNOTTING BETWEEN BEADS $20 minimum
$4.00/inch for beads 6mm or larger using bead tips
$5.00/inch for beads 6mm or larger using French Wire
Additional charge for knotting beads smaller than 6mm $30-$50 based on the size of the beads.

Additional costs to replace missing beads, clasps or components based on components needed ($5 minimum). Note: Replacements may not be an exact match, but we will do the best we can to match the originals as closely as possible.
Additional cost to recreate or re-design a necklace that has become a "Bag of Beads" $25. If the design is not completely unstrung and/or the design is obvious, no addition to the fees listed above.

Jewelry will be ready for pick-up no more than two weeks after dropping off at the KPManning & Friends booth in the Dupont Flea Market or it's arrival via USPS.  If an item was promised on a day when either the market is closed or the KPManning & Friends booth is closed, Deborah will contact you to let you know. A shorter turnaround time is available for a $25 surcharge.

If you aren't local to the DMV you can mail your item and it will be returned to you via USPS for an additional $5-10 depending on distance, to cover postage. Please contact Deborah at deborah.mcclintock09@gmail.com for information about where to send it.
