- Green cores with flowing multi-color lines and occasional "eye" like those on peacock feathers. Three sizes: 22x10mm, 27x8mm and 10x6mm
- I don't recall seeing this particular design before
- The flush lampwork designs on these beads is super fine and precis
- The name lampworking comes from the lamps (torches today) that artists use to melt the very thin rods of glass for applying decoration to the surface of beads.
- The bead cores were produced in the furnaces of larger Venetian glass workshops before being sent to artists working at home to decorate them. This explains the variations we see in similar designs produced over decades.
