- These beads are priced and sold by the set of 5
- Rich medium dark amber core embellished with splashes of a molten red, white and blue cane and dots made of the same glass as red White Heart beads
- Bonus on this strand 6 nice 7mm diameter drawn white heart beads
- Big beads are 18x10mm
- Made in Venice, Italy for the African Trade, where the rich amber color was a favorite because it looked like the local gold. These were probably made as early as the late 1700s well into the 1800 and possibly into the early 1900s
- However the coloring agents used for yellow changed after 1918 so that the beads were a much lighter brighter yellow. These pre-date that change.
