  • These beads are priced and sold individually
  • Classic amber, brick, white and blue colors in concentric circles 27x10mm
  • The size look different in the image because of the camera angle
  • The design was created by bundling great numbers of tiny glass canes together to from the circles
  • The irregular edges of the circles let us know that this was how these beads were made. Later, a technique for encasing rods of glass in concentric coats of different colors resulted in murrini (cane slices) with smooth boundaries.
  • The same color combos were used across both methods for many decades
  • Made in Venice, Italy early 1800s for the African trads
