- Large orange tubular beads 27x17mm with large 3mm+ holes on 14-inch strands
- These were made in Nigeria, collected in the 1970s when apparently there was hot glass beadmkaing going on - a completely different process from Ghanaian powderglass beadmaking
- These no doubt were intended to simulate coral, by far the most popular and expensive bead type in Nigeria.
- In addition to their color, and the fact that they are an interesting product of a short lived, and almost unknown glass industry in Nigeria, the big holes in these beads make them easy to use on leather or even thicker cords
