Description
- Strand of 9 Vintage, or older, East African red amber (aka Faturan) oval beads most 24x20mm with some larger and some smaller, shapes and colors also vary slightly. The mix makes it a nice collector strand although designers will desire these too.
- The perforations in some of these beads show signs of long term use, the could be antique.
- The color is wonderful deep burgundy preferred in East African and the Middle East. The material is similar to the bakelite type resins that the amber color oblates popular in West Africa were made of
