- These beads are priced and sold individually
- Elongated, tapered, four-sided oval Gond beads 9x25mm
- I believe these rare beads were first forged in solid brass, then drilled. The openings of some show wear, but not as much as the small beads at ASM-1076
- These, along with most brass beads in India, are sometimes still called "Tribal", meaning they are made by, and/or preferred by, rural indigenous groups such as the Gond or Naga. The people themselves prefer the term Adiviasi to describe their origins as the original inhabitants of India
- Gond beads have become collectible, however, and are now sold by weight, priced nearly the same as silver.
