  • These beads are priced and sold in sets of 10
  • Antique brass, or possibly bronze, rings with a ball attached, Traditionally they were sold in large quantities overlapping each other on heavy but impressive  strands. See ASM-1081 or ASM-108
  • They must have had a special significance at some time, but I haven't discovered it yet. I'll let you know when I do.
  • Since most of us don't need that many, or want to wear anything that heavy, I've cut one strand to give you a chance to try them out in sets of 10. 
  • They can work in earrings as individual dangles or in bracelets or necklaces bunched together in short section held in place by other beads. Give it a try...
  • Because the rings are large enough to fit on 2mm leather they also make interesting spacers or clusters for leather jewelry
  • They are sometimes call "seed pod" beads and are found in Thailand and Myanmar often strung with turquoise blue "Padre" trade beads.
