Description
- These components are priced and sold individually
- Brass and Turquoise vintage pendants, originally part of a headdress, these components have a series of small holes all the way around their edge. See the second image for this detail. This allows them to be used as a pendant, spacer or bead, strung in a variety of directions - or sewn onto head gear, belts or clothing...
- These date from the 1980s and the turquoise chips inlaid into their resin surface are real and natural. These versatile components measure 30x16mm
- See 2 other sizes at ASM-289 and ASF-457
- I bought these in Nepal, but much of the work found there is, at least influenced by and sometimes even made by, refugees from Tibet or other neighboring countries. I'm calling the Asian beads and pendants I'm listing this month "Himalayan" to acknowledge the similarities and overlap in materials, design, and craftsmanship throughout the region.
