Description
- These pendants are priced and sold individually
- Small versions of a Turkoman clasp components made into a pendants 60mm wide
- The hooks and eyes of the clasp were removed and two rings attached to the back of each for stringing. See fourth image.
- These have nice sets of dangles on hand looped chains in good condition, some gilding and stamped borders inside the diamond shape
- These could also be strung by connecting to any of the openings at the top
- Large antique originals (like ASF-304) were covered with auspicious engraved symbols relating to fertility, rows of stylized rams horns along the top edges, and studded with antique "eye" cut carnelians that have been believed for millennia to protect from bleeding, wounds and miscarriages. In newer, smaller versions the designs are simplified and eye shaped cabochon are glass.
