- Set of 3 antique extra large Lost Wax Cast brass and/or bronze cylinder beads from Nigeria, which though less known for beads than Ghana, has a long and illustrious artistic metalworking history.
- The beads in this set are 33-40mm long and 13-15mm diameter
- One has holes as shown in the image where the metal has worn through so this set is discounted.
- The openings are at least 9mm so can be strung on heavy cords, scarves, hair, or used in multi- to single strand designs.
- They are estimated to be over 200 years old and some of them show it, as well as the natural irregularities that distinguish Lost Wax Casting from mass produced work.
