- African Turquoise 8mm round beads on 16-inch strands
- This stone is no relative of Turquoise found in the US or elsewhere, but rather a form of Spotted Teal Jasper that is mined in Africa. It is characterized by black and brown markings on blue-green.
- The natural color is more green than blue as these stones are. If it's more blue it's probably been treated to enhance the color.
- Combines well with African resin, bauxite, and carnelian as well as black.
- Popular for men's bracelets too.
