- The pendant has a clean break at the bail, but I chose not to glue it but rather share it as is as an educational and affordable addition to a bead collection.
- The broken area gives a peek into the core of these ancient faience beads
- Beads include one very nice melon bead 10x13mm and four round beads ranging in size form 8 to 15mm
- The pendant and the melon bead retain some of the brighter blue glaze, which is quite unusual for beads of this age
- Few of us have the opportunity to handle beads that are thousands of years old
- These date from between 100 and 500 AD
