- Having been a world traveler and writer on scented beads, kiffa beads and Czech beads of the 1920's Marie-Jose took up glass-beadmaking with gusto during her stay in the DC area in the 1990s. Last I heard, she and Howard were planning to move to the south of France to sell her beads. Sounds like heaven to me.
