- Antique African trade bead necklace of two pairs of curved blue and amber trade beads with shorter versions of the same pattern. Red & Yellow Jasper beads, amber resin and blue glass rondelles.

- It took me a few years to start combining gemstones with my African beads, but once I realized that both yellow and red jasper are perfect matches for the amber and brick colors in antique Venetian trade beads these became my go-to stones.
- Dark blue glass rondelles bring in the complementary hue to complete the palette and brass potato chip beads give a hint of metallic sparkle
