Description
- Faux large animal teeth, like lion or baboon, make of bone
- They range from 3-3.5 inches long with some small variations in shape
- They are polished silky smooth and stained to differentiate the part that would have been showing vs the darker root of the tooth.
- The perforations look like they will take 1.5 to 2mm diameter leather
- Quite realistic, and actually nicer to wear than the real thing (See JSD-457)
- Large animal teeth were believed to confer the power of the large beasts on the wearer, but they were rare and relatively expensive, so these imitation teeth became quite a popular alternative in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire in the mid-1970s
