- Large blue and white powderglass bead from Ghana
- Vintage 1970s 45mm long with hole about 2mm
- Powderglass beadmaking resembles, and may be derived from, faience beadmaking that was practiced in ancient Egypt and Persia. It involves layering different colors of glass into a clay mold and heating the beads until the glass fuses, but doesn't completely liquify.
