- Nearly black jade Axe blade shaped pendant, 18mm wide at top by 36mm tall
- This stone so dark it's nearly black, the hole is about 2mm cleanly drilled side to side hear the top.
- Hand carved by Maya artists living and working near the ancient Maya site of Copan, in Honduras (where my sister spent 2 years working as an archeologist in the 1980s).
- Jade is an extremely hard stone so cutting, drilling, and polishing it is difficult and time consuming work
