- Strand of antique Venetian lampworked black and white beads know variously as "zen" or "six" beads. The later for because when the white decorations on the black beads don't look like spirals, they look like the number 6
- There are currently Asian reproductions on the market with a variety descriptions and price points, so be sure you can trust whomever you buy from.
- These are the real deal, bought in Africa in the 1970s long before contemporary SE Asian glass bead reproduction making got started.
- The 29 carefully selected and high graded beads on this strand were assembled for our February 2026 eblast image. The graduated strand contains beads ranging from 11 to 15mm diameter.
- All are in very good condition and do have a "zen" feel about them
