- Strand of 8 Vintage East African red amber oval beads 28x20mm
- These are the wonderful deep burgundy color and oval shape that is preferred in East Africa and the Middle East. They are related to the more amber yellow/brown and oblate shaped beads that were preferred in west and northwest Africa
- Sometimes called Faturan amber, these red resin beads are of the same, or very similar, synthetic resins as the west African beads.
