- Light Blue "Russian Blue" antique Bohemian trade beads, 6x4mm on 23-inch strand
- Russian blues get their name from the Russian fur traders who sold them to Alaskan natives in exchange for animal pelts. The beads were made in Bohemia and likely transported to eastern Russia overland, although they might have also arrived overland. As far as I know the light blue variety was not traded by Russians
- They went to Africa instead (along with some of the larger faceted cobalt blue versions. Made in the 1800s for the African Trade
