- Round, cobalt blue (32) and amber color (10) beads 16mm diameter
- These are very sturdy wound bead in perfect condition except for one blue one with big chip
- These are beautiful beads, each could be a focal. They have a soft finish due to extensive wear and although they are wound beads the ends have been worn completely flat due to long use next to each other. The colors are worldwide classics and could pair stunningly with many other kinds of glass, gem, metal or organic beads.
- I've been told they are "Peking Glass", but the aren't anything like the bubbly crudely made Peking glass that was coming onto the market in the late 1980s and early 90s.
- According to what little info I've been able to find I think they date from the 1800s at a time when bead production in China had increased due to the mandate for certain officials to wear Court Chains of beads.
