- These beads are priced and sold as a set of 5
- Excellent set of red antique Venetian fancy "wedding cake" beads including three round beads 12mm diameter and 2 cylindrical beads 20x10mm
- These beads got their fancy name for the over-the-top decoration, which includes white, green and goldstone flowers and flourishes.
- Because these raised designs were likely never intended for the rough travel they encountered on their way to and around Africa, it's rare to find these beads in perfect condition. These are in much better shape than most (I bought them from a well known African bead appraiser) but they do have some missing bits.
- Made in Venice, Italy throughout the 1800s
