- Kenyan batik bone is brings bold designs, without excessive weight. The hollow cow bone beads are filled with a lightweight wooden plug.
- Hollow Mali silver bicones give a subtle shimmer that can be enhanced if you want to give them a massage with a good polishing cloth.
- The vintage matte black Czech glass beads are perhaps the heaviest components here. Along with some black wood spacers they frame the focal beads nicely without drawing attention away from them.

When I discovered matte finish Czech glass I was delighted and have been using it ever since.
