- I'd been to Morocco before, but I didn't really fall in love with the country and the people until we survived the earthquake of 2023 together. Now I have the context for the Tuareg jewelry we've been selling at Beadazzled for decades. Stunning landscapes, beautiful people, so many different forms of art and craft, vibrant music, delicious food and aromas and oh my, the cats!! Essaouira has more cats per square mile than anywhere else in the world! Over 3000 inhabit the tiny medina and are universally loved and cared for by all.

- Almost all of my work is one-of-a-kind (although I do like to work in series around color palettes). I string on soft flexible cable wire, preferring the Flex-Rite brand. I use only sterling or gold filled crimps. My favorite clasps are Indian Silver S-hooks or Bronze or White Bronze hook & eyes.
