Short bone tubes with batiked star design, 12x10mm
The Batik process involves painting the area that should stay white with molten wax to protect it. Then the beads are submersed in black hair dye, which adheres only to the areas not protected by wax. Finally the wax is removed, the beads are strung and make their journey half way around the world to us.
