- These beads are priced and sold as a set of 3
- One brass rectangle 25x16mm and two small teardrop beads, all inlaid on both sides, with white stone and lapis resins that fill designs outlined in brass dividers.
- Similar to the "block" turquoise made in the US, finely ground turquoise and lapis are mixed with a clear resin. When hardened this material can be carved into various shapes. Here I suspect it was added to the brass frame of this bead in a semi-liquid state. Handmade in Nepal
- This is almost like a contemporary form of cloissonne, where instead of adding powdered glass to the spaces outlined in brass, the stone/resin mixture fills it in
- These shapes can serve as focals or add a dramatic counterpoint to necklaces made with mostly round beads
