Description
- Large, vintage brass oblate beads, hollow, but very sturdy 24x27mm with slight variations. These are the type of bead that would have been strung with AFE-597
- They are very different from the lightweight, shiny hollow Mali bicone beads.
- These have a slightly textured matte finish and solid structure, you could stand on one and not crush it, yet because they are hollow they are light enough to be wearable. African Amber or Batik Bone come to mind as pairings...They could also look fabulous with some of our large brass Asian beads...
- These came from Nigeria
- The perforations are between 3-4mm
- They are all in perfect condition. I have removed the only one that had a flaw (seen second from the top right in second image, closeup of 7 beads)
