- Vintage (early 1970s) leather, fur and metal necklace with etched white metal ring
- Most examples available, (and selling for big bucks!) are missing the ring
- These were made in then Upper Volta, now Burkina Faso, either as hunter's amulets or purely for adornment, depending on the story.
- All I know is that a friend brought it back to me in Cote d'Ivoire after his travels around the region.
- The leather and the ring are in great condition, the fur is shedding a bit. Not surprising after more than 50 years in storage!
