- Carnelian in long faceted shapes with 6 and 8mm round beads and beautiful Tuareg pendant with detailed geometric engraving and carnelian cabochon.
- Accented with Indian sterling silver beads and clasp with small silver rondelles
- The Tuareg are nomads of the western Sahara desert and Morocco. Among them silversmithing is akin to magic and is practiced with great skill, artistry & soul.
- The back of the pendant bears the maker's mark in the Tuareg language
- Designer: Penelope Diamanti: World traveler, insatiable bead collector, entrepreneur (creator of the Beadazzled stores & this website), self-taught artist, teacher, writer, and cat lover.
- Almost all of my work is one-of-a-kind (although I do like to work in series around color palettes). I string on soft flexible cable wire, preferring the Flex-Rite brand. I use only sterling or gold filled crimps. My favorite clasps are Indian Silver S-hooks or Bronze or White Bronze hook & eyes.
